Privacy and terms

The short version. Your files and your spreadsheet are deleted automatically within 8 days of your job finishing (within 2 days if you never pay). You can delete them yourself at any time with the "Delete everything now" button. We don't use your files to train AI. We don't sell or share them. There are no accounts.

What we store

The receipt and invoice files you upload, and the spreadsheet (Excel and CSV) we make from them.
A small job record: the file names, the price, and the job's status. Your results page is reachable only through a long random link; anyone who has that link can open the results, so treat it like a key.
If you use the "Need something else?" box: the sentence you type. Please don't include personal details. Deleted after 30 days.
We do not ask for your name or email, and we never see your card number.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (such as time, page address and network address) for a short period under its own policy. Payment records are kept by Stripe as the law requires, and are outside our deletion button.

No training on your files

We do not use your files or results to train or improve any AI model, ours or anyone else's. The AI provider we use processes your files under business terms that likewise do not use them for training.

Who processes your files

Who	For what
Anthropic (the Claude AI model)	Reads each receipt and returns the date, vendor, amounts and category. Receives only the files in your job. Under its business terms it may keep inputs and outputs for a limited period for safety review, and does not train on them.
Vercel	Hosts this site and stores your files in a private, access-controlled storage area until deletion.
Stripe	Takes your payment. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.

No people at Dragon Drop look at your files in the normal course of a job. We may look at a specific job only if you ask us for help or to investigate abuse or a technical fault.

Tax returns and other sensitive documents

This service is built for receipts and invoices. If you drop something more sensitive, such as a tax return, it is handled the same way as everything above, but please only upload documents you are comfortable sending to the processors listed here, and blur or leave out numbers like Social Security numbers that the job does not need.

Security

Files travel over encrypted connections and are stored in a private area that is not reachable by public link. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise otherwise.

Terms of use

AI can make mistakes. The spreadsheet is a convenience, not a record you can rely on blindly. Check totals against your originals. Rows that need a second look are marked in the Notes column.
Not professional advice. Categories are suggestions. Nothing here is tax, legal or accounting advice. Ask a licensed CPA or tax professional before you file or deduct anything.
Refunds. If a job fails or the result is unusable, tell us and we will refund it. Prices are shown before you pay and are one-time per job.
Your content. Upload only documents you have the right to use. You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything we return.
Limits. Up to 30 files per job, 4 MB each. We may refuse or stop jobs that look like abuse.
The service is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the job.

The free document explainer (/read)

The separate free explainer page sends the document you drop there to the same AI provider to be explained, is not stored by us, and does not produce a paid job. The same no-training rule applies.

Children

This service is for adults. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change how long we keep files or who processes them, we will update this page and the date above before the change applies to new jobs.
